About Us
Committed to Excellence in Care
Harmony House is a children’s residential home based in the West Midlands, dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment for children and young people who need care outside of their family home.
We believe every child deserves to feel safe, valued, and listened to. At Harmony House, our approach is child-centred, trauma-informed, and relationship-based, ensuring that each young person receives care tailored to their individual needs, experiences, and aspirations.
Our home supports children and young people who may present with social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties (SEBD) and/or additional learning needs. We focus on building positive relationships, promoting emotional wellbeing, and helping young people develop confidence, resilience, and essential life skills.
We work closely with local authorities, families, schools, and partner agencies to ensure each child receives consistent and holistic support. Whether a child’s journey involves returning home, transitioning to foster care, or preparing for independence, we are committed to supporting positive, lasting outcomes.
Harmony House operates in line with the Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015 and Ofsted Quality Standards. Our experienced and compassionate staff team is committed to safeguarding, high-quality care, and creating a warm, homely environment where children can thrive.
At the heart of everything we do is a simple belief: when children feel safe, supported, and understood, they will flourish.
Our Mission
Our mission is to provide safe, caring homes where young people feel happy, supported, and understood as they grow into adulthood. We know that young people with autism, learning disabilities, and additional needs may need extra support, patience, and guidance.
We are dedicated to creating safe and nurturing environments where each individual feels valued and empowered. Through tailored support, we aim to promote independence, develop essential life skills, and help every person reach their full potential.
Building Skills
Our mission is to support young people and young adults in developing the skills, resilience, and independence needed to successfully transition from children’s services into fulfilling adult lives. We recognise that this period of change can be complex and challenging, particularly for individuals with additional needs.
Through structured, person-centred support, we aim to equip each individual with the confidence, practical life skills, and emotional resilience required to navigate through to adulthood. We are committed to working in partnership with families, professionals, and the young people themselves to ensure a smooth and positive transition, promoting long-term wellbeing, inclusion, and independence.
